You heard it correctly, for ten days out of the year, entrance fees are waived at all National Parks. That means you can explore them for free — all you have to do is get there!
Jan. 16 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Feb. 20 – Presidents’ Day
April 15-16, 22-23 – National Park Week
Aug. 25 – National Park Service Birthday
Sept. 30 – National Public Lands Day
Nov. 11-12 – Veterans Day weekend
The Fee Free Days include Grand Canyon National Park, Saguaro National Park, and Petrified Forrest National Park.
